How We Analyzed 3,200 Law Firm Profiles

Most “SEO advice” for law firms is recycled best guesses. This isn’t that. We built this study from the ground up using hard data from 3,200 Google Business Profiles across 20 U.S. cities.

Using Places Scout and Ahrefs, we tracked rankings for eight of the most competitive PI keywords, compared firms in Position #1 vs. Position #10, and analyzed over 150 different data points: everything from categories and reviews to links, UTMs, and technical site factors.
